In the fall, Klim will defend her dissertation as she completes her doctorate in education. She is a licensed clinical social worker. Klim, who is a resident of Mercer County, earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and her master’s degree from Fordham University. During her time at the middle school level, she served as an anti-bullying specialist and co-led Campaign Connect initiatives with her Mercer County colleagues while working in East Windsor. She served the Freehold Township School District as the director of educational services before coming to Lawrence. She has worked as a member of child study teams at all levels, including working with out-of-district students. She then became the director of pupil personnel services in Shamong. Her administrative career began as a supervisor of child study teams in Pemberton Township.
She has more than a decade of central office-level experience. Klim began working in the Lawrence school district in January. Klim will begin her new position on Sept. The Lawrence Township Board of Education is slated to approve Robyn Klim as the district’s new superintendent of schools at the board’s next meeting on June 28.
